In November 2008 The Charnwood Company purchased from OSPAP, the largest distributor of paper products in the Czech Republic, a 33,000 sqm warehouse facility in Prague – Štěrboholy. The sale lease-back transaction was financed by The Charnwood Company through UniCredit Leasing. OSPAP signed a long term lease to occupy the entire facility.
The property, is ideally located in the Štěrboholy district of Prague 10 and benefits from excellent links to the motorway network. The site is on the eastern part of the City Inner Ring Road (Jižní Spojka) which links the important D8, D11 and R10 motorways, together with the D1 motorway to the south.
The Charnwood Company continues to implement a comprehensive asset management program focused on enhancing the quality and image of the facility through significant investment. This effort has resulted in almost full occupancy of the project.
The project was changed from a single-tenant project to multiple-tenants one during 2017. Among the current largest tenants there are companies Papyrus Bohemia, Moris desing, Celní deklarace Žáček, ViT Logistics or Freightzone Limited.
New Building – The Charnwood Company’s plan is to further enlarge leasable area of the project by constructing a new Class A storage facility comprising of approximately 4,000 sqm. Planning permits are in place for the new building.
